Living in a foreign country #2-Parlez vous anglais?

Here we go for the second amendment on the "Living in a foreign country" series. One of the first thing that might come to your mind  when thinking about moving abroad is whether or not you will be able to connect with people in the same way that you would with people speaking your mother tongue.
